A delegation of AU headed by President Bekhzod Djalilov paid a working visit to the United States to discuss partnership with American universities. AU receives the status of the reporter in World University Rankings 2023

AU, the first private university in Uzbekistan, made another step toward entering top world universities ranking. The Times Higher Education published its World University Rankings 2023, which includes 1,799 universities across 104 countries and regions. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one reputable ranking of the world universities. The ranking is based on 13 performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. Raufhon Salahodjaev publishes research paper in Journal of Knowledge Economy

A research paper by scholar of AKFA University Raufhon Salahodjaev has been published in Journal of Knowledge Economy, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The paper is titled “Demand-Side Mobile Money Drivers of Financial Inclusion: Minimum Economic Growth Thresholds for Mobile Money Innovations” and provides minimum economic growth (or GDP growth) critical masses or thresholds that should be exceeded in order for demand-side mobile money factors to favorably drive mobile money innovations for financial inclusion in developing countries. AU Medical School Professors take part international dental conference in Tashkent

Professors of AU Medical School took part in the international conference dedicated to actual problems of prevention of dental diseases in Tashkent. The conference was held within the Dental Week, organized by the Ministry of Innovation of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Dental Institute. Deputy dean of AU Medical School Professor Niladri Maiti and Professor of AU Medical Riddhi Chawla attended the conference as the guest speakers. Professors of AU Business School publish a research paper in “Sustainability” journal

A research paper by two professors of Akfa University Business School: Professor Alisher Dedahanov and Professor Odiljon Abdurazzakov has been published in one of the top journals, “Sustainability”, ranked Q1 in Scopus and Q2 in Web of Science. AU professors honoured by Mirzo-Ulugbek district and Tashkent city administrations

A group of AU professors was awarded by the administrations of Mirzo-Ulugbek district and Tashkent city with the certificates of honour. The certificates of honour were handed over to professors within the celebration of the Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day in Uzbekistan, which is marked on 1 October. Dean of Arts and Humanities School Munisa Muhtarova, Deputy Dean of Medical School Dr. Niladri Maiti, as well as professors Alisher Dedakhanov, Farhod Eshmatov and Dr Muhammad Saiful Islam Khan received the certificate for their dedicated work in the education sector.

AU, Goethe-Institut Usbekistan discuss possible areas of cooperation

A delegation of Goethe-Institut Usbekistan led by its director Maren Niemeyer paid a visit to AU to discuss possible areas of cooperation.
