AKFA University scholars Bekhzod Djalilov and Rauf Salahodjaev published their co-authored research "Renewable Energy and CO2 Emissions in Top Natural Resource Rents Depending Countries: The Role of Governance" in Frontiers in Energy Research. Their study shows that renewable energy consumption along with the improved quality of institutions are important factors in mitigating climate change effects. Bekhzod Djalilov is a rector of AKFA University. Rauf Salahodjaev is the head of the Center for research in social sciences (CRISS) under AKFA University.
