A group of AU professors was awarded by the administrations of Mirzo-Ulugbek district and Tashkent city with the certificates of honour. The certificates of honour were handed over to professors within the celebration of the Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day in Uzbekistan, which is marked on 1 October. Dean of Arts and Humanities School Munisa Muhtarova, Deputy Dean of Medical School Dr. Niladri Maiti, as well as professors Alisher Dedakhanov, Farhod Eshmatov and Dr Muhammad Saiful Islam Khan received the certificate for their dedicated work in the education sector.
A delegation of Goethe-Institut Usbekistan led by its director Maren Niemeyer paid a visit to AU to discuss possible areas of cooperation. Navbahor Imamova, a prominent Uzbek journalist at the Voice of America, visited AKFA University (AU) to familiarize herself with the educational programs of the first private higher education in Uzbekistan. Seven applicants won the fully-funded AU Excellence Scholarships (AUES) for 2022-2023 academic year. In line with the decision of the admission committee, Humoyunmirza Bahodirov, Laziza Abdullaeva, Samandar Ergashaliev, Shuhratjon Zayniddinov, Nazirjon Rakhimov and Barno Rustamova won the fully funded scholarship. A group of compatriots, living in foreign countries, paid a visit to AU Campus. The visit was organized by Vatandoshlar Foundation.
