Head of the AU Center for research in social sciences (CRISS) Raufhon Salahodjaev along with his co-authors from Poland published a research paper in one of the top journals “Energies”. The paper is titled "Does Renewable Energy Sector Affect Industrialization-CO2 Emissions Nexus in Europe and Central Asia?". This study shows that renewable energy mitigates CO2 emissions. Ten percentage points increase in renewable energy consumption reduces CO2 emissions per capita by 2.2% and renewable energy consumption compensates for the negative effect of industrialization on environmental quality. AU Professor Sanjar Madrakhimov published a research article in the journal "Cell Death Discovery" (5-year Impact Factor 5.302). The topic of the article is “Role of mTORC1 activity during early retinal development and lamination in human-induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived retinal organoids”. He contributed to this research during his PhD program and after graduation from Soon-Chun-Hyang University Medical School, South Korea. He rewrote and reviewed the whole manuscript.
