School of Engineering of AKFA University will hold a series of lectures dedicated to architecture and design.
The initiative is directed to the discussion of history and trends, as well as problems in architecture with the participation of professionals of the sphere and students.
The first lecture within the new initiative was dedicated to Bauhaus, was a German art school that combined crafts and the fine arts. The school became famous for its approach to design, which attempted to unify the principles of mass production with individual artistic vision and strove to combine aesthetics with everyday function.
Saidamir Marufkhujaev, the teaching assistant at AKFA University, who worked in the architecture sector, was the first guest speaker of the open lecture.
During the lecture, Mr Marufkhujaev spoke about the history of Bauhaus and its impact on the development of global architecture, as well as persons, who influenced to development of the Bauhaus and its education system.
