AKFA University and leading South Korean organizations to foster startups and training of technical personnel

AKFA University, INNO Technopark (Uzbekistan), Yeungnam University and Gyeongbuk Technopark (South Korea) will jointly foster startups and training of technical personnel. Representatives of AKFA University, INNO Technopark, Yeungnam University and Gyeongbuk Technopark signed a memorandum of understanding. Within the signed document the sides intend to foster start-ups and technical manpower, capacity building and job creation. Technical manpower nurturing education, dispatch and exchange of technical experts are another direction of cooperation. The parties will exchange operational know-how, policies, investment and technology information, as well as support the export of companies of two nations. Head of AU CRISS publishes research paper in the top journal

Head of the AU Center for research in social sciences (CRISS) Raufhon Salahodjaev along with his co-authors from Poland published a research paper in one of the top journals “Energies”. The paper is titled "Does Renewable Energy Sector Affect Industrialization-CO2 Emissions Nexus in Europe and Central Asia?". This study shows that renewable energy mitigates CO2 emissions. Ten percentage points increase in renewable energy consumption reduces CO2 emissions per capita by 2.2% and renewable energy consumption compensates for the negative effect of industrialization on environmental quality. AU Business School professors Odiljon Abdurazzakov and Alisher Dedahanov published a research paper in one of the top journals “Frontiers in Psychology”. The journal “Frontiers in Psychology” is ranked Q1 both in Web of Science and Scopus, and impact factor 4.2. The paper is titled “Abusive supervision and employee voice: The roles of positive reappraisal and employee cynicism”.

AU faculty members become the very first Apple Certified Trainers in Uzbekistan

Three faculty members of the Engineering School of AKFA University (AU) became Apple Certified Trainers. They passed through the App Development with Swift Train The Trainer (T3) program in June 2022. They are the very first Apple Certified Trainers in Uzbekistan. Bahodir Ahmedov - dean and professor of Engineering School at AU, with a decade-long teaching experience. AU Professors Riddhi Chawla and Niladri Maiti published a research article “Informatics in Medicine Unlocked” magazine. This joint research titled “Artificial intelligence enabled non-invasive T-ray imaging technique for early detection of coronavirus infected patients” was carried out at Adamas University, Kolkata, India, and at 2 other universities and a research institute in India. AU continues to accept applications from applicants for the Professional MBA program. The AU Professional MBA program is a graduate business program suitable for students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Hands-on learning experiences combined with practical classroom instruction provide students with the essential business skills needed to effectively manage and lead organizations.
